Obituary:

SAMONS, Nollie Conn Age, 84, of Prestonsburg, formerly of Arkansas Creek, Martin, died Wednesday, September 29, 1999, at the Riverview Manor Nursing Home, Prestonsburg, following a long illness. She was born July 12, 1915, in Martin, the daughter of the late Elkana Corm and Margaret Crum Conn. She was a member of the Church of Christ, Prestonsburg. She is survived by her husband, Millard Samons. Other survivors include one son, Julian Samons of Salyersville; two daughters, Opal Samons and Lilly Samons Mullins, both of Martin; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Burial in the Sarnons Family Cemetery, Arkansas Creek, Martin.
