  • Note: Isaac Allen moved to Ohio after his older brothers Robert ,William, James, Henry. He settled in Jackson county at Hewitt's Fork by 1840. Rachael Massie was daughter of Jeptha Massie who resided about half a mile south of where Jefferson Furnace is now located. Isaac and four of his sons served in the Civil War. Two sons died of fever, one killed at Murfreesboro. See Jackson standard March 19, 1863.
