Estella B. Delp-85, of Marshall, died at 3:55 AM today in Vermillion Coun ty Hospital at Clinton.
She was a member of the Marshall Federated Church and the Neighbors Cl ub of Marshall.She
was born in Vermillion County on May 19,1896, a daughter of James and Barb ara Padgett Thomas.
She married Orphus Delp on September 20,1916. He died March 7. Surviving a re three sons, Russell
of Brookston, Ross of Marshall and Earl of Connersville; two daughters, Ba rbara Hill of Auburndale,
Fla.,and Katherine Smith of Poway, Calif.; a sister, Ruby Ritter of Greenc astle; nine granchildren;
and eight great-grandchildren. Services are scheduled for 2PM Wednesd ay in Marshall Federated
Church with the Revs. John Kessinger and Lester Niles officating. Burial w ill be in Popular Grove
Cemetery. The body will lie in state one hour prior to the service. The fa mily requests that memorials
be in the form of donations to the Heart Fund.
