Of this union 7 children were born; Elizabeth wife of Lorenzo Smith and died May 17, 1870; Harriet Eliza died January 2, 1843 when 7 years old; Louisa, wife of Daniel Smith and after his death the wife of James W. Baker who died November 9, 1877; J. G. of Monterey; Elias A.; Darius, died November 30, 1867, aged 16 years and Cynthia the wife of George Baker of Elmira, NY. Of these children, Jason G., Elias A. and Cynthia A. His wife Caroline died March 21, 1881 of dropsy.
