  • ID: I0537
  • Name: ELLENDER Nelly NOT PROVEN MOTHER possibly FILLIS
  • Sex: F
  • ALIA: Nelly /Fillis/
  • Birth: BEF 1755 in Not England. Ann is the only documented child of this couple. Might not evem be Fillis! ** SEE NOTES ** 1
  • Birth: in These sons are NOT confirmed to be George and Nelley's
  • Death: AFT 1800 in Last seen in Buncombe Co, NC in 1800 census. ** SEE NOTES ** 2
  • Note:
BIG NOTE: THERE IS NO PROOF THAT SHE IS THE MOTHER OF ANYONE EXCEPT ANN.

No one can figure out if Fillis is Nelley's middle name, maiden name or married name if she remarried after George died. However, she is listed in the 1800 census in Buncombe Co, NC as Nelly Edmons which is probably why people are spelling her name without the second "e" which clearly appears on her "permission slip" for Ann to marry John Morgan.

1 female over 45 (which means that a definitive birthday of 1755 is probably not accurate)
