She married twice at a very young age.
She had lived in San Jose for almost 25-years where she worked for the Santa Clara County Department of Social Services first as an eligibility worker and more recently as a program ccordinator.
She had recently developed a great interest in her Tlingit heritage and had studied and marketed Northwest art. She was active in the Tlingit and Haida, California chapter.
She was raised by foster parents Eric and Lydia Larson of Auke Bay, AK.
She was 6th of fifteen children.
An additional living aunt was identified as Mary Willis of Angoon, AK.
