    This individual was identified and added to the family unit by the 1918 BIA census at Metlakatla, AK.

    Her full dob and husband, Charles Ryan, Sr., were provided by Gordon Thompson, 1998.This individual was identified by the death records of her sons Burlington and George Ryan, AK. Vital Statistics.

    Her marriage date and place (Charles A. Ryan) were obtained from her marriage certificate, Ak. Vital Statistics.

    Their marriage license application, First Judicial District, Ketchikan, AK dated 27 Jun 1924 indicated that she was a cannery worker in Metlakatla at that time.

    The 1940 BIA census reported her has full blood Tsimpsian.

    Her dob and place of birth were obtained from the 1950 BIA census at Metlakatla, AK.

    She had passed away prior to 3 Jul 1956 according to a marriage license application of that date, First Judicial District, Ketchikan, AK. This was confirmed by her obituary. Ketchikan Daily News, 30 Dec 1954

    She died at the Ketchikan General Hospital two days after paralysis attacked her entire left side. She lapsed into a coma shortly after admission to hospital and subsequently passed away.

    She was joined with her parents and siblings through the knowledge of her descedant Patricia Booth Beal, Apr 1997.

    Her maiden name was reported as Guthrie by the death certificate of her son Charles George Ryan. First Judicial District, Ketchikan, AK 23 May 1943

    Her death certificate was reviewed, Alaska Vital Statistics, 1954.

    Her father was identified as Frank Guthrie, her mother was not reported. Further research is needed.

    She died at the Ketchikan General Hospital of tuberculus meningitis or tuberuloma with paralysis of the left arm, leg and face.

    She was married Alaska native woman who was a housewife in Metlakatla, AK.

    She was 5' 5" tall and weighed 160 pounds.
