Note: !John Lewis Family Records microfilm, LDS Genealogy Library, Salt Lake, UT
John Lewis is buried in a family cemetery on the James Wilson farm. The original farmhouse still is occupied. I was there last Sept. but was unable to get to the cemetery as the man living there had planted corn in the easement and there was no access to the cemetery. John served in the Revolutionary War. There is a plaque hanging in the courthouse at Rushville honoring the men who served in the Rev. War and John's name is on that plaque. There is also a stone for John Lewis in Little Flat Rock Cemetery stating he is buried 1/2 mile west and that would be on the James Wilson farm.--Grace, wgp57@teleport.com
