Robert E. Grable

The Mass of Christian burial for Robert E. Grable will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. at the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. Entombment will be in the Mount Olivet Mausoleum under the direction of the Heaton-Bowman-Smith & Sidenfaden Chapel.
Mr. Grable, 67, of 1624 S. 24th Street, died Monday, Feb. 2, 1987, at his home following a lengthy illness.
Born at Dearborn, Mo., he had resided in St. Joseph for 41 years;
He was a retired Naval Reserve chief petty officer and an Army and Navy veteran of World War II.
Mr. Grable worked as a truck driver for Land Red E Mix for 31 years.
He was a member of the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church.
Surviving are his wife, Winifred E. Halter Grable of the home; three sons, Robert W. Grable, Daniel J. Grable and Gary D. Grable, all of St. Joseph, five sisters. Ruby Richardson . . .
