    Logan is Logan Douglas Brandon named for Methodist Minister Thomas Logan Douglass, that was pastor of the McKendree Methodist Memorial Church in Nashville. He had a Logan Douglas Jr. also that has been proved by a descendant. This also from John Rison Jones.
