        Note: Published in the Huntsville Times, Wednesday, May 20, 1987: George Junior Sharp, 57, of Fayetteville died Tuesday at Lincoln County Hospital. The funeral will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Laughlin Service Funeral Home in Huntsville, Ala., with the Rev. James Hancock officiating. Burial will be in the Concord Cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Mardell W. Sharp; two daughters, Dolores Sharp and Marie Milligan, both of Huntsville; two sons, Michael Dan Sharp and Richard A. Sharp, both of Huntsville; three sisters, Ina Reid and Dean Putman, both of Huntsville and Dorothy Brown of Texas; a half-sister, Minnie Barkley of New Market; and a half-brother, Milton Sharp of New Market. Visitation will be today after 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
