I never knew until I got married that my mother never married Edgar, it was only when I saw my birth certificate. My aunty told me at Edgar's funeral, she pointed out to my mother that there was a strange woman in the church and my mother said that was Edgar's wife, I was only 7 when he died, He did not live with us all the time, he was a Methodist minister and preached on the Wells circuit, my mother never spoke much of Edgar after his death, I can now understand why.
