He was born 7 FEB 1852 in Cape Girardeau County, Missouri, and died 23 MAR 1920 in Cape Girardeau County, Missouri. He was buried 25 MAR 1920 in Jackson, Cape Girardeau County, Missouri.

 2  i.Wilbur V. Hitt was born 15 OCT 1873 in Cape Girardeau County, Missouri, and died 14 JAN 1943 in Cape Girardeau County, Missouri.
