He was born 21 FEB 1828 in E Wellow Wilts\Hampshire, was christened 16 MAR 1828 in St Margarets, and died 1875 in Dorking.
	Children of Ellen ( Annie ) Lant and Henry Pointer are:   2   i. Edward Pointer was born 1859 in W Wellow Wilts\Hampshire.   3   ii. Walter Pointer was born 1866 in Hampshire. + 4   iii. Henry James Poynter Or Pointer was born 1869 in Epsom.   5   iv. Margaret Pointer was born 1870 in Ockley Surrey.

4.	Henry James Poynter Or Pointer (Ellen ( Annie ) Lant2, Thomas Lant1) was born 1869 in Epsom. He married Jessie Ann WRIGHT 4 DEC 1900 in Stoke Next Guildford Surrey, daughter of Christopher Hunter WRIGHT and Jane REDPATH. She was born 1871 in Chatton.
	Children of Henry James Poynter Or Pointer and Jessie Ann WRIGHT are:   6   i. Jane Redpath Pointer was born 26 MAR 1901 in West St Belford, and died 2 MAR 1978.   7   ii. Charles Hunter Poynter was born 1909 in East Hampstead (Jun Qtr).
