She married (1) Andrew Spaulding February 05, 1700/01 in Chelmsford, Mass. He was born March 25, 1678 in Chelmsford, Mass, and died November 07, 1753 in Chelmsford, Mass. He was the son of Andrew Spaulding and Hannah Jefts.

He resided in Chelmsford, Ms., and was a deacon of the church. This Andrew, with his wife Abigail, convey land in Londonderry, N. H., to John Goffe, of Londonderry, N. H. The deed was dated Dunstable, Sept. 2, 1726. Witnesses, Josiah Spalding, Ephraim Spalding.

    In the name of God. Amen. the nineteenth day of February Anno Domini one thousand seven hundred and forty one, two, I, Andrew Spaulding of Chelmsford in the County of Middlesex within his Maj8 province of the Massachusetts Bay in New England yeoman, being in health of body & of perfect mind & memory, thanks be given unto God. Therefore calling unto mind the mortality of my body, and knowing that it is appointed for all men once to Dye do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament. That is to say principally and first of all I give and recommend my sole into the bands of God that gave it; and my body I recommend to the earth to be buried in decent Christian Burial at the discretion of my executor nothing doubting but at the general resurrection I shall receive the same again by the mighty power of God, and as touching such worldly estate wherewith it hath pleased God to bless me in this life, I give, demise & dispose of the same in the following manner and form.

    Imprimis: I give and bequeath to my dearly beloved wife Abigail the whole improvement of all the lands and buildings and stock that I shall dye seized and possessed of during the full term of her natural life, and also the improvement of all my household goods for the term aforesd.

    Item. My will is that what I have given my well beloved son Andrew in lands by deed of gift with that that I shall hereafter bequeath to him in this will shall be his portion in full.

    Item: My will is that what I have given to my well beloved son Jacob in lands by deed of gift, with that I shall hereafter bequeath to him in this will shall be his portion in full.

    Item: My will is that what lands I have given to my well beloved son Henry in lands by deed of Gift with that I shall hereafter bequeath to him in this Will shall be his portion in full.

    Item: My Will is that those Lands which I have given to my wel-beloved son Josiah by deed of gift with that I shall bequeath to him here underwritten in this will shall be his portion in full. Item: My Will is that those lands that I have given to my wellbeloved son Ephraim by Deed of gift with what I shall hereafter bequeath to him in this will shall be his portion in full.

    Item: My will is that those lands that I have given to my well beloved son Isaac by Deed of gift with what I shall hereafter bequeath to him in the will shall be his portion in full: Item My Will is that those Lands that I have given to my Well beloved son James by Deed of gift with what I shall hereafter bequeath to him in this will shall be his Portion in full. Item: My Will is that those Lands that I have given to my wellbeloved son David by deed of gift with what I shall hereafter bequeath to him in this Will shall be his Portion in full. Item: My Will is that the Fifty pounds that I gave to each of my Welbeloved Daughters namely Abigail, Joana and Sarah at there Marrige with what I shall hereafter bequeath to them in this Will shall be there portions in full. Item: My Will is that those Lands & buildings as above mentioned given to my Sd wife for her improvement During the Term of her natural Life shall after her Decease be Disposed of in Manner following in the first place my above Sd son Andrew shall Receive Ten pounds old tenor out of them. Secondly my above Sd son Ephraim shall Receive Twenty pounds old tenor. out of them, and then the Remaining part thereof with so much of the stock and implements for husbandry as are left shall be equally divided between every one of my above named sons.
    Item: My Will is that all such of the above mentioned household goods as shall be Remaining after my Sd wifes decease shall be equally Divided between my above Sd Daughters Abigail and Sarah and my grand Child Mary Harwood, if she be living or her Children if any be.

    Item: My Will is that my above Sd sons do pay mine and my Sd Wife's funeral charges. I Likewise constitute make and ordain my Welbeloved son David my sole executor of this my Last Will and Testament and I do hereby utterly Revoke disallow and disanull all & every other and former Testaments Wills Legacies and bequests and Executors be me in any wayes before Named willed and Bequeathed Rattifleng and Confirming this and no other to be my last Will and Testament.

    In Witness Whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the Day and year above written.
