Confirmed in Quebec, on February 23, 1660, but lives in Sillery. It goes s' to establish at Co.-Family, Î.O., on March 20, 1665, the sior Charles de Lauzon-Charny concedes a ground to him. Deceased at 87 years. Reference: Jetté 228 Claude Charlan says Francoeur Ancestor of Charland d' America L' ancestor, Claude Charland says Francoeur would be l' ancestor stock of all Charland to the country and the first arrived to News-France, about 1646. Claude Charlan was born about 1626 in Saint-Chrystophe from Chateauroux, of l' archbishop's palace of Bourges, in Berry. He is the son of Jean Charlan and Catherine Mabile. On January 8, 1652, it takes for wife Jacqueline Borde/Desbordes. The young girl came from Rueuil (Hauts-de-Seine) and her parents named Pierre and Radegonde Valentine.
