    in 1735 and entered 100 acres in Bladen County on Hogg Swamp,
    including the place she was then living, on March 17, 1756. Her
    will November 11, 1769 Bladen County will named the following
    legatees: Jacob Lamb, Isaac Lamb, Thomas Clark, Hardy Inman,
    Joshua Lamb, Rachel Davis and Patience Carter. Jacob and Isaac

    Mary Lamb Will Bladen Co. NC November 11,
    1769

    In the name of God "Amen", November the 11th, 1769. I Mary Lamb,
    being very sick and weak in body but perfect in mind and memory,
    thanks be to God for the same, and my soul I recommend to God
    that gave it and my body I recommend it to the ground to be
    buried in a Christian-like and decent manner at the discretion
    of my Executors,nothing doubting but at the general resurrection
    I shall recieve the same again and wherewith it hath pleased God
    to bless this world I do dispose of my wordly goods in the
    manner and fro following, viz-
  • Note:
    Item first, I give my lands containing 200 acres to be be sold
    at public sale and the money to be equally be divided between
    Jacob Lamb and Isaac Lamb after my decease, and my cattle to be
    equally divided between Jacob and Isaac, only Thomas Clark is to
    have two cows and calves, one sow and pigg, and all my hogs and
    horses I give to the said Jacob and Isaac, to equally divided
    between them. "over"....I give them all my household goods, only
    100 acres of land that Hardy Inman lives upon if he pays for it
    in the space of three years from the time of this letter then he
    is to have the same and if not is to be sold to public sale and
    the money to be equally divided between Jacob Lamb and Isaac
    Lamb.

  • Note: I give to Absalom/Abraham? one shilling sterling

    Lastly I do appoint Jacob and Isaac Lamb my sole Executors after
    my decease.
