Edmund Bell is known to have been married thrice.
Edmund Bell's first wife by whom he had most of his children, was Anne Osborne, daughter of Peter Osborne, esq, Treasurer's Remembrancer in the Exchequer by his wife Anne Blythe. This Anne was dead *by but not in* 1604, and then we briefly catch a fleeting glimpse of Edmund's second wife by whom a son Richard Bell bap 9 Jun 1605 at Outwell.
This second wife is buried 18 Jun 1605.
His third wife Muriel Knyvett, daughter of Thomas Knyvett, the 4th Lord Berners de jure (by Muriel Parry) was living in 1608 as Edmund Bell's widow.
