In 1235-36 Richard de Harcourt was holding land in Kibworth, Leics, from the Earl of Warwick, and it is probable that this was the manor of KIBWORTH HARCOURT, which Richard certainly possessed in 1250. The Harcourt family retained the manor until 1265, when it was taken from Saer de Harcourt by Henry III after Saer had joined Simon de Montfort's revolt.
He had a brother Sayer de Harcourt. No issue shown for him.
Saer de Harcourt, the younger son of Richard, and finally passed to Walter de Merton, Bishop of Rochester, in 1271.
