    Colonel Henry James Baillie (1803-1885), was Conservative MP for Inverness-shire (1840-1868). A protectionist in the 1840s, friend of Benjamin Disraeli and associate of Young England in the early 1840s [as was his brother in law George, Lord Strangford]. He was later Under-Secretary of State for India (1858-1859) in Lord Derby?s Conservative government.
