    Heiress of father.
    However when William Kerdeston 2nd Baron Kerdeston died, his dau had already died leaving John de Burghersh b 1343, and therefore still a minor. There was dificulties as to whom was his heir as he [v] had had issue by m2, but before marriage, two sons Roger and William, and by his m3 Margaret also before marriage. There are three pages in CP on the details of the ensuing litigation which I have only skimmed through.
    It was this last Margaret who m by Dec 1347 Sir William Tendring and left:
    i. John who m Aveline de Tylney leaving Isabel dsp and Elizabeth dsp.
    ii. William m Catherine Clopton and left Alice m John Howard knt. >. Robert m Margaret sister of John Mowbray, Duke of Norfolk > John Howard.
