He joined the rebellion of Thomas, Earl of Lancaster being called one of his most dangerous associates. He was hanged and drawn Mar 1322. Fought in Scotland 1310, 1313, 1316 and 1317.
Thomas sided against the King at the battle of Boroughbridge in 1322 and lost, as he did the manor (of Grateley, Hants) and his life after capture.
