    Jane was the mother of Henry baptised 6 Jan 1644, and Charity baptised 1646 Yapton, both children of dau of William Edmonds and Jane (see William Edmonds notes for reference to Henry and Charity). Jane may of course not have been the mother of Elinor, who, if she was married in 1654, could have only been 14 if she was born in wedlock.
    Settlement on the intended marriage (before the end of the month) of William Edmonds and Jane Goringe. - ref.  WISTON/4968  - date: 1 July 1639:
    (a) William Edmonds of Yapton, gent.; (b) Henry Goringe of Highden in Washington, esq., and Jane, his fifth dau.
    Letters of administration granted to Sir Henry Goring, bart., guardian of Mary Edmonds, in respect of the estate of John Edmonds late of Yapton, a minor, dec'd., who was her brother. - ref.  WISTON/5061  - date: 19 March 1685/6.
    Wife Jane is mentioned in William Edmond?s will.
    Did she really have a husband who died before 1658, and a brother Henry who died in 1702?
