    He was created 1st Earl of Worcester [England] on 16 July 1449.
    He held the office of Treasurer of England between 15 April 1452 and March 1455.
    He was invested as a Privy Counsellor (P.C.) beforre 1453.
    He held the office of Chief Justice of North Wales between 25 November 1461 and 28 August 1467.
    He held the office of Constable of the Tower of London on 2 December 1461.
    He held the office of Constable of England between 7 February 1462 and August 1467.
    He was invested as a Knight, Order of the Garter (K.G.) on 21 March 1461/62.
    He held the office of Treasurer of England between 14 April 1462 and June 1463.
    He held the office of Lord Steward of the Household on 9 January 1462/63.
    He held the office of Chancellor of Ireland on 31 January 1463/64.
    Sir John Tiptoft, 1st Earl of Worcester also went by the nick-name of 'Butcher of England' [because of the unpleasent way he dealt with Lancastrian prisoners when fulfilling his role as Constable of England under Edward IV.]
    He held the office of Constable of England on 14 March 1469/70.
    He held the office of Treasurer of England on 10 July 1470.
    In September 1470 he was taken prisoner, and condemned for high treason by the new Constable of England, John, 13th Earl of Oxford.
