Name: Roger de Flamenvilla

Granted by King Henry II land in Whittingham, Northumberland, 1160 - 73. He was succeded by his son William to whom King John confirmed the grants about 1200. He died without issue and left his four sisters as heirs. See the Northumberland County History, vol. xvi, p. 508-9.
Should NOT be confused with the family of Roger de Flamville and Juetta de Arches which was a separate and unrelated family.
Roger de Flamville left a son William and four daughters, Constance, Alice, Maud and Christiana.
