    Salomon (died 874), was king of Brittany, from 857 to his death. Salomon, himself son of Rivallo III, Earl of Poher, became ruler of Brittany after the murder of his cousin, Duke Erispoe. In 863, Salomon signed the treaty of Entrammes with Charles the Bald, where Anjou was recognised as a part of Brittany. He was murdered in 874, and was succeeded by his son-in-law.

    His name in Breton is SalaŁn. He is also called Saint Salomon, but only the popular tradition did canonize him and raise him to the rank of martyr.

    His son was called Rivallo IV of Brittany, Earl of Poher, and had issue.
