    Succeeded his grandfather. Was knighted on Black Heath Field. He was elected Sheriff of Staffordshire in 1500 and made High Steward of Tamworth by Henry VII in 1506. He willed to be buried ?within the chancel of Tamworth church before the image of St. Editha? and it is noteworthy that he died on her festival day, 15th July 1512.
