    Jimeno II (d. 931) was the brother of King Sancho I of Pamplona. He appea rs as regent during the reign of his brother, and on the latter's deat h, he served as co-regent for his infant nephew the king, García, using t he royal title. He shared the regency with Toda Aznárez, the young king 's mother and doubly his own sister-in-law. He reigned from 925 until h is death (931).

    Jimeno married Sancha Aznárez, sister of co-regent Toda and granddaught er of king Fortún Garcés, and had by her: García, who went with his moth er to Gascony; Sancho, who married Quissilo, daughter of García, cou nt in Bailo; and Dadildis, wife of Muza Aznar, wali of Huesca (grands on of Aznar II Galíndez of Aragón). By a mistress he had another son nam ed García, who died at Córdoba.
