(The Planters of The Commonwealth in Massachusetts, 1620-1640, page 142)

William married Elizabeth about 1630. She was born perhaps between 1602 and 1609 In England and her parents have not been determined. She died 30 December 1684 in New Haven, New Haven Co, Connecticut.

William and Elizabeth TUTTLE emigrated from England and came to
America In 1635 sailing on "PLANTER" with their three children. There
were nine more children born in America. They first settled in Boston
but moved in 1639 to New Haven Connecticut where they helped to establish the first colony there.
(My Tuttle ancestors, 1635-1975, page 3-4)

Elizabeth TUTTLE came to America on "PLANTER" in 1635 with her
husband and her first three children. Her age was listed on the passenger list as 23 which would put her date of birth as 1612
Although most of the researchers give it from 1608 to 1612 to cover
the possibilities. Many of the nineteenth century researchers as well
as many working in the present days have spent considerable time
trying to find documentation of her parents and family line with no
one finding anything so far as we know..
