    living close to the various Abernathy families. Larkin, age 50, is a
    collier. He and his wife Sarah, age 60, were born in North Carolina.
    At home was Margaret, 21, Matilda, 18, Noah M., 12, daughter Frances,
    10, William, 7, Elizabeth, 6, and James M., 1. All of the children,
    except James, were born in North Carolina.
    Elizabeth Bradshaw had a sister, Mary Rebecca Jane Bradshaw, who
    married James Keever (1811-1907) in Lincoln County, North Carolina on
    25 March 1837. James and Mary left Lincoln County about 1 March 1846
    in a covered wagon. Six or seven other wagons were with them,
    including the family of Mary's uncle Larkin Bradshaw. Daniel Keever,
    James' brother, had moved to Georgia several years before. James
    Keever settled northeast of what is now Cartersville, near the
    Cherokee County line. James and Mary attended Macedonia Primitive
    Baptist Church and are buried, along with many other Keever and
    Abernathy family members, in it's cemetery.
