BRADLEY - Alan P. Vienneau, 46, went home to be with his Lord, March 4, 2008, after a long, but courageous battle with cancer. Alan passed with dignity and love for the Lord at his home with his wife and daughter by his side. "I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth, there is laid up for me a crown." II Timothy 4:7-8. He was born Aug. 2, 1961, in Calais, the son of Leon J. and Charlene (Audette) Vienneau. Alan was raised in Vanceboro and was a 1979 graduate of Lee Academy. He attended the University of Maine before entering the U.S. Army. Alan then earned a degree in electronics at Calais Technical College. He worked as a supervisor at Olamon Industries and as a maintenance technician at Brewer Automotive Components. He loved spending time with his wife and children, and his granddaughter, Grace, always kept a special light in his eyes and heart as they prayed, learned and played together. Alan felt blessed to be able to share in his stepdaughter, Donna's life, as he watched her grow up and become a loving daughter, woman and mother. Alan also enjoyed camping, boating and fishing with his family and friends on Moosehead Lake and spending time in the area. It was his most serenity place to be along the water with his fishing pole. His most loved camping trips was on Father's Day, a time he set aside just for his beloved daughter, Sarah. He is survived by his loving wife of 13 years, Erthel J. Vienneau; his daughter, Sarah N. Vienneau; stepdaughter, Donna Harris; granddaughter, Grace Harris; brothers, Glen Vienneau and his wife, Laurie, of New Mexico, and Paul Vienneau and his wife, Virginia, of Milford; nieces, Jessica and Kimberly; and nephews, Ryan and Ethan. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, Erthel's family and many friends. He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Edmund J. and Adrienne (Lamontagne) Vienneau of Jackman; and maternal grandparents, Joseph E. and Valeda B. (Baillargeon) Audette of Greenville. Visiting hours will be held noon-1 p.m. Friday, March 7, at Birmingham Funeral Home, 438 Main St., Old Town, where a funeral service will be held 1 p.m. with the Rev. Randy Washington officiating. Interment will be private. Should friends desire, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bradley Baptist Church Building Fund, Highland Avenue, Bradley, ME 04411.
