      JONESPORT - Herman B. Seavey Sr., 56, died unexpectedly Dec. 28, 1979. He was born in Jonesport May 23, 1923, son of Heman L. and Rhodella (Faulkingham) Seavey. He was a fisherman. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy (Tibbetts) Seavey of Jonesport; eight children, Henry R. Atcherson of Addison, Mrs. Dickie (Beverly) Petrain of Vermont, Mrs. Henry (Janette) Eaton of Milbridge, Mrs. Larry (Hermena) Hanning of Addison, Mrs. Ronnie (Rhodella) Martin of Jonesport, Mrs. James (Hattie) Beal of Jonesport, Herman Seavey Jr. of Jonesport, Mrs. Richard (Nina) Grant of Jonesport; 20 grandchildren; six sisters, Mrs. Richard (Della) Faulkingham of Beals, Mrs. Maggie Drisko of Beals, Mrs. Frank (Pauline) Merchant of Jonesport, Mrs. Lincoln (Arvilla) Faulkingham of New Hampshire, Mrs. Lennie (Annie) Davis of New Hampshire, Mrs. Vertland (Deborah) Crowley of Beals; three brothers, Charlie Seavey of Jonesport, Lyman Seavey of Beals, David Seavey of Jonesport; one uncle, Isaac Seavey of Beals; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at the Beals Wesleyan Church at Beals, with the Rev. Bernard Brown, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Jonesport.
