Name: Daniel Lamprey
Given Name: Daniel
Change Date: 7 AUG 2004
Note: There is a tradition that he never married but remained on the homestead and had for a housekeeper "a kinswoman," to whom he gave the easterly half of his house-lot, which she afterwards sold to (John?) Knowles. But it is found that Daniel Lamprey was allowed from the teasury of the province, in 1711, "his debenter, for money paid Roger Swaine, for entertaining his son, being sick in the [military] service, fifteen shillings," and from an account, in 1710, it appears that the name of the son was Benjamin. (Prov. Pap., III: 422,469.)
