      Ruth L. Perkins

      Milo - Ruth L. Perkins, 88, widow of Lewis A. Perkins, died March 25, 1976, at a Greenville nursing home following a long illness. Born in St. Stephen, N.B., Sept. 18, 1887, the daughter of Levi and Nettie (McNutt) Ferson,

      She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary of Milo.

      She is survived by two sons, Vinal A. Perkins of New Russia, N.Y., Carlton L. Perkins of Dover-Foscroft; one brother, Bert Perkins of New Brunswick; four sisters, Mrs. Kenneth (Nina) Roberts of Auburn, Mrs. Fred (Nettie) Bowden of Brewer, Mrs. Emerson (Dolly) Noddin and Mrs. Marion Sacre, both of Lewiston; two grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

      Funeral services will be conducted from the Lary Funeral Home, Milo, 1 p.m., Sunday, with the Rev. Anna A. Stead of the United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in the family lot at Evergreen Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Saturday, 2-4, 7-9 p.m.
