loving family on Dec. 29, 2003.

She was born on Aug. 26, 1919, at Beals Island, a

daughter of William and Lena (Merchant)

She graduated from Pembroke High School in

1937 and from the nursing program at Eastern

Maine Medical Center in Bangor in 1941. She

married Samuel Wright Jr. on June 7 that same

Samuel Wright Jr.; and her son, Thomas R. Wright.

She had four brothers, Ronald, John, Grover, and

Albert Faulkingham. She is survived by her

and Stacey Wright, Katrina Bickford, Scott and
