    John W Jeanes 11 OCT 1888
**Martha E Jeanes 23 sister (listed as ((SEP 1876)) here but her ages are different in the other censusus. Ida and Rose are 2 1/2 years apart here but 5 YEARS apart in the other censuses. Plus their middle initials don't match in 1910--maybe Margaret gave the information and wasn't sure about Martha's and her daughters ages/date?)
    Ida L Jeanes 4 DEC 1895
    Rosa A Jeanes 2 MAY 1898

    1910: JEFFERSON
**Martha Jines 36 <1874> does NOT have number of kids for any of the women in this household.
    Ida B Jines 16
    Rosie N Jines 11
William F Jines 8 (here he's Wm F. Next census he's Floyd. His DC says Wm. A. but with wrong mother and a father named James Jenes --who is that? Surely not Margaret's son James which would be Martha's nephew)
    Cecie C Jines 5
    James E Jines 1 8/12
    Nola Moore 23 boarder

    1920: JEFFERSON enumerated 15 Jan 1920.

    Ida Jones 26 sgl
    Rosa Jones 21 sgl
Floyd Jones 18 (William Floyd) sgl
    Cecil Jones 15 sgl
    James Jones 11 sgl
    Daisy Jones 8 daughter sgl
Elsie Jones 7 daughter (Ida's) sgl
Neta L Jones 4/12 daughter NOT IF LINA IS DAUGHTER -- who is the mother? Rosa?
Lina Jones 2/12 (it says she's two MONTHS old (which means born arund Nov 1919--yet if this is Leona everyone has her Jun 1917. If this isn't Leona where is she?? ) Is she Ida's daughter Leona "Penny" per her greatniece's information in 2009) In her next census she's 12 instead of 10 plus 2 months.

    1930: Newport, Cocke, Tennessee
**Martha Jenes 58 <1872> wd (this is the first time she has a reference to marriage).
    Ida Holbert 35 wd
    Cecil Jenes 25
    Jaime Jenes 22
    Daisy Jenes 19
Lennie Holbert 12 granddau (or Jenes as shown in 1920 before Ida married James Holbert. Unless they were messing around at the middle of 1918? )
    Maxie Lee Holbert 6 granddau

    Single
    Daisy Jenes informant.
    Swann Cemetery

Somehow someone put 1871 as the birth date on her grave information. No early census supports that date but we can't count on the 1900 here because she didn't give info on herself or her kids apparently since it doesn't match anything else in the world.

Martha and W.O. (her nephew) are buried in the Swann Cemetery in Jefferson Co, just below Paralee EDMONDS Jenes.
