    (3) Henry II, King of England, born in Le Mans, France, grew up in Anjou, France, and crowned in Rheims Cathedral in France. It was he who ordered the "invasion" of Ireland, and listed himself as King of Ireland--getting fealty from Strongbow(buried in Dublin in Christ Church Cathedral, whose tomb I have visited, and other Normans. He used an edict, many say forged, from Pope Adrian,the only English Pope, giving him the right to invade Ireland He was the first of the Plantagenet(named for a sprig of green they placed in the hair and hats--"Plant--a-genet"), Kings of England--GabeSheridan
