The possible mother of Royal Wife Ahmose and Grandmother of Hatshepsut was Ahmose Nefertari . She held the title of "God's Wife of Amun"(hemet netjer nt Imen) which she inherited from h er mother Ahhotep. Neither of her daughters appear to have bore the title, possibly because s he out lived her husband , Ahmose and her son Amenhotep I. She was a granddaughter to Royal W ife Tetisheri the wife of Pharaoh Sekenenre Tao I. Her grand-daughter Hatshepsut inherited he r grandmother's title of God's Wife. After her death she was worshiped as a goddess and wit h the titles "Mistress of the Sky and "Lady of the West".
