Note: pub in the Newark, OH, Advocate on Mon May 21, 1894
Albert Moriarty died last evening at his home #220 Indiana St. The funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon and the services will be conducted by the Rev E. I. Jones, pastor at the Plymouth Congregational church. Several years ago, Mr. Moriarty was injured in a wreck on the B&O railroad and at that time he sustained injuries which necessitated the amputation of his left arm above the elbow joint. Mr Moriarty did not regain his customary vigor and the disease, hypertrophy of the heart, which terminated in his death, followed as a result of the injuries received on the road. Until recently Mr. Moriarty has been employed by the B&O Company in Columbus. The deceased was endowed with many good qualities which distinguished him at his work, at home and among friends. His life displayed the fruits of a sturdy Christian character and his untimely departure will be generally deplored.
