In the early 1870's they moved to Colorado, cros sing the plains in a covered wagon, and for 2 or 3 yrs. lived on the fa rm of her brother, Jonas Everett, near Golden. Frye disappeared and she to ok her children, a team of horses, and the furniture in a lumber wagon, a nd 2 cows and drove to Dillon, CO, a mining town about 75 mi. west in t he mountains. She crossed Loveland Pass, about 12,000 ft., she and the chi ldren walked most of the way because of poor roads and lack of room in t he wagon. She opened a hotel in Dillon, raised her children, and d. 8 M ay 1897 or 1899 in Dillon. Frye d. 4 Jan. 1913, in Phoenix, Arizona. Child ren surname FRY: Clinton, b. 1855, A1ice b. 1857
