    Compiled Service Records, Ole Everson, Pvt., Co. G, 33 Regiment Wisconsin Infantry; 14 cards, final statement. In Mar 1864 the regiment left Hebron, Mississippi "to join the ill-fated Red River expedition". Ole became ill in Louisiana and was sent from Alexandria, LA to the U.S. hospital boat Woodford on 20 Mar 1864. He died in the camp hospital at Memphis, TN "by reason of congestive chills;"19 buried in Memphis, Shelby, Tennessee; Ole is buried in the military cemetery at Memphis, TN. Lloyd has photographs of the cemetery and tombstone. The gravestone inscription reads '3140/Ole Everson/Wis.', in the Wisconsin section.

    He was also known as Ole Evensen Aaberg. He immigrated on 30 Aug 1850; Emigrated with parents.12
